Patrik R. Jones, Ph.D., works as Professor of Metabolic Engineering at the Department of Life Sciences, Imperial College London, and Chief Scientific Officer of NouriSol Limited. His academic work over two decades has focused on engineering the metabolism of plants, bacteria and cyanobacteria. Presently, he is most excited by the idea of engineering metabolism in microbial systems to make farming more environmentally sustainable.
