Kathleen Maletic Neuzil, MD, MPH, is director of the Fogarty International Center and associate director for international research at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). Neuzil previously served as the Myron M. Levine MD DTPH Professor of Vaccinology and director of the Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Neuzil is a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization. Her research has been instrumental in implementing vaccines against the most common infectious causes of disability and death in populations around the world
