Jian Jin Along

Jian Jin, a distinguished professor of Soochow University in China. Prof. Jin is engaged in research on the design, preparation and application of high-performance membranes through rational design and precise construction of their macro- and microstructures. She has published 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications with over 19600 citations and h-index 67, i10-index 162. She applied 40 invention patents with 22 licensed patents. She won the first-class award of basic research and achievements of science and technology award of Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China in 2021, and the first-class award of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award in 2018. She was awarded “Distinguished Young Scholar Award” supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and elected as a member in the Ten Thousand-Talent Program in China. She was honored as the Leading Innovative Talent Scholars of Young and Middle Age in the Ministry of Science and Technology of People’s Republic of China. She won the “Zhu Li Yue Hua” Excellent Supervisor Award. As an outstanding woman scholar, she was awarded as “National Model for women’s meritorious service”. She served as the editorial board members of the journals of “Desalination”, “J. Membr. Sci. Lett”, “Adv. Membr.”
