Series: Emerging Methodologies and Applications in Modelling, Identification and Control

The new series, Emerging Methodologies and Applications in Modelling, Identification and Control, will report and share state-of-the-art work in modelling, identification and control engineering for worldwide university classroom teaching, academic research, and industrial applications in a systematic and sustainable series of book publications.

The EMAMIC series will cover all aspects of modeling, identification and control of industrial application, which could include system identification, parameter estimation, dynamic simulation, optimization, adaptive control, optimal control, nonlinear control, and others emerging techniques.

Books in the EMAMIC series may be used as reference manuals for advanced courses in automatic control systems, in university classrooms and/or industrial short training courses which are suited for students, researchers, and engineers working on the topics of electrical engineering, process engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, automotive and aerospace engineering, and other manmade systems.

New Trends in Observer-based Control. Volume: 1 Design presents a clear and concise introduction to latest advances in observer-based control design.

This book gives a comprehensive tutorial on the new trends in design of observer-based controllers for which the separation principle is well established. In addition, since the theoretical developments remain more advanced than the engineering applications, more experimental results are still expected.

It covers a wide range of applications. The book contains worked examples which make it ideal for advanced courses as well as for researchers starting to work in the field. This book is also particularly suitable for engineers wishing to enter the field quickly and efficiently.
