Xiaojun Yan 严小军

Dr. Xiaojun Yan is the Professor at Zhejiang Ocean University, the Director of National Engineering Research Center for Marine Aquaculture in China. He was elected to be academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences in 2019. Dr. Yan has been working on research topics of nutrition, biochemistry and functional genes in the field of marine aquaculture for decades, the scientific discovery and technical innovations on lipid nutrition of dietary microalgae, fucoxanthin bioactivity and product commercialization have been awarded National Technology Progress Prize, Chinese Young Distinguished Scholar Prize, National Labour Awards. He has published more than 400 SCI cited research papers, 6 books and 100 patents, and named in the world’s top 2% of Scientists List (career-long achievement), as well as Elsevier Chinese highly cited scientist in the field of Fisheries Sciences.
