Xiaohong Zhou

Dr. Xiaohong Zhou received her B.S. from Tongji University in 2002 and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2007. She joined the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, as an independent researcher in 2009.

She is currently a tenured associate professor at Tsinghua University, with research interests in biological recognition materials and biosensing, optical sensors for environmental monitoring, CRISPR-based bioanalytical chemistry, and effect-directed analysis. She has already published more than 130 peer-reviewed SCI journal papers with an H-index of 42, including publications in the Nature Communications, ACS Central Science, Advanced Science, ACS Nano, Light: Science and Applications, ES&T, B&B, and 50⁺ conference papers, including 20⁺ invited papers at international conferences. She serves as an Associate Editor of Environmental Chemistry Letters and an Editorial Board Member of three SCI-indexed journals. Research in her lab has resulted in more than 10 patents as well as successful products in environmental monitoring.
