AI for Teaching and Research: Applications and Experiences

From Library to User: Practical Applications and Hands-on Experience with LeapSpace AI

LeapSpace testimonials - campaign header mobile v2

Introduction

AI is rapidly transforming the way universities teach, learn, and conduct research. From literature discovery, research ideation, and writing support to course design and learning assistance, AI is opening up new possibilities for higher education. At the same time, information credibility, academic integrity, citation standards, and responsible use have become important issues that campuses must address together.

Co-hosted by National Taiwan Normal University and Elsevier, this event brings together speakers from academia, libraries, and product teams to explore the applications and challenges of AI in higher education and academic research from a range of perspectives. Combining theoretical trends, campus adoption experiences, research tool demonstrations, and firsthand user insights, the event will help participants understand how to harness AI—grounded in trusted academic content—to improve research efficiency, deepen thinking, and uphold academic integrity and research quality.
