Access

ESPReSSO Establishing Suggested Practices Regarding Single Sign On (ESPReSSO) Enables users to use their institutional credentials to login across multiple platforms and products.

Shibboleth/ SAML(在新的选项卡/窗口中打开) Shibboleth is an implementation of SAML (Secure Assertion Mark-up Language) which allows secure authentication enabling users to log in using their institutional credentials. For customers, we support OpenAthens and SAML-based single log-on.

Accessibility

Holdings and usage

COUNTER(在新的选项卡/窗口中打开) COUNTER (Counting Online Usage of Networked Electronic Resources) Code of Practice facilitates a single, accepted, extendable Code of Practice to measure the usage of online information products and services. Elsevier is a founding member of COUNTER.

KBART(在新的选项卡/窗口中打开) Knowledge Base and Related Tools (KBART) is a recommended best practice for publishers to format and distribute title lists and holdings reports in a way that is consistent, accurate and easy for updating library knowledge bases.

Community-specific standards

Information preservation

Digital archives Working with Yale University Library and the Dutch national library, Koninklijke Bibliotheek(在新的选项卡/窗口中打开), Elsevier has adopted the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) standards for preservation and established an official, permanently accessible, digital archive for Elsevier journals.
