The findings are drawn from Elsevier’s Researcher of the Future - a Confidence in Research report. As part of the study, Elsevier received responses from 122 corporate researchers on their use of AI and views on the evolving role of the technology. The findings for corporate researchers begin here:

  • 33% of corporate researchers do not use AI for work

  • 76% expect AI to save them time and 49% believe AI will help drive new knowledge over the next two to three years

  • 70% say automatic citations would increase AI adoption
