The Elsevier Foundation at 20: Catalyzing Impact, Inspiring Change

As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Elsevier Foundation, we reflect on two decades of commitment to advancing research, education and social impact. Since 2004, the Foundation has been a catalyst for change, bridging the gap between academic research and societal needs. With an annual contribution of over $1 million, we have supported inclusive health and research initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Foundation’s journey includes impactful programs like Innovative Libraries and New Scholars, which have strengthened research capacity and advanced women in STEM.
