About the Editors

Shakeel Ahmed

Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Ph.D., is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Higher Education Department, for the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He is also an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Chemistry, at the Government Degree College Mendhar, Jammu and Kashmir. He obtained his first degree in general science from the Government Postgraduate College Rajouri (University of Jammu) followed by his master’s and doctoral degree in chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university, situated in New Delhi. He gained his post-doctoral experience in biocomposite materials from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has published several research papers in the field of green nanomaterials and biopolymers for various applications including biomedical, packaging, and water treatment. He has published more than 20 books on either nanomaterials or green composites with publishers of high international repute.

Annu Tomer

Annu Tomer has expertise in Bionanomaterials, Bionanocomposites and Composite Materials for biomedical applications and is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Lingaya's Vidyapeeth, Faridabad, Haryana, India. She has completed her post-graduation from University of Allahabad and had her doctoral research from Jamia Millia Islamia. She has published many scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has authored many book chapters as well as review articles. Recently, she has received Young Researcher Award of the year 2018 from MCS (India), and is the member of American Chemical Society and Asian Polymer Association. Her research interests include green nanomaterials, composite materials, and renewable resource-based materials for biomedical applications and nanomedicine to combat Antimicrobial resistance and Cancer.
