Monica Masucci

Monica Masucci is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Strategy and Marketing at University of Sussex Business School, where she is also Deputy Head of Department. She holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University in Italy. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Copenhagen Business School and Ivey Business School, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.Before joining the University of Sussex in September 2011, she taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Bocconi University, University of Castellanza and University of Milan in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship and cultural economics. She also worked on a number of research and consulting projects dealing mostly with firms' internationalization strategies, new business development and innovation management in the consumer goods and energy industries.Monica has designed and led a pre-acceleration program at Bocconi for Innovation (Bocconi university's accelerator), where she currently acts as Head of Institutional Partnerships and Ecosystem Development. Monica is also an Affiliate Professor of Innovation at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
