Prof. Maryna Taryba

Maryna Taryba studied at Belorussian State University (2003-2008, Minsk, Belarus) and, later, obtained PhD degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon (18.02.2016). Presently, she is a researcher at the Materials Engineering & Energy Lab (MATee), Centro de Quimica Estrutural (CQE) (IST – Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon, Portugal). She co-authored >60 papers in international peer reviewed journals and 1 book chapter. Her research is centered around the localized measurements (electrochemical and others), applicable to different scientific fields of study (corrosion, biomaterials, fundamental research and, since recently, energy storage) and their improvement based on computational techniques.
