Advances in Heat Transfer

Aim & scope

Advances in Heat Transfer is Elsevier’s flagship review serial for the heat transfer community. Conceived to fill the information gap between the regularly scheduled journals and university level textbooks, each volume presents in depth review articles or monographs on current topics across thermodynamics, fluid flow and energy systems. Chapters begin from widely understood principles and, in a logical sequence, bring readers to the frontiers of the subject. The series has been well received by the international scientific and engineering community; for example, one early volume explored subjects as varied as dry cooling towers, drag reduction flows, molecular gas radiation and electrochemical transport phenomena. Recent volumes continue this tradition with comprehensive, authoritative reviews by leading researchers, making the series an indispensable resource for graduate students, researchers and engineers looking to stay current in the rapidly evolving field of heat transfer.
