Aim & scope

Biogerontology is a sub-field of gerontology concerned with the biological aging process. The work of a biogerontologist focuses largely on researching ways to slow down the process of biological ageing as well as looking at environmental and nutritional factors. Advances in Biogerontology provides broad coverage of the latest developments in the field of Biogerontology. The purpose of the serial is to provide readers with a combination of ‘deep dives’ into area that are especially informative to those seeking to understand the frontiers of ageing research during a transformational period in the development of the field combined with a focus on early career scientists voices and ideas which often do you receive the attention they deserve.
