Yanli Zhao

Dr. Yanli Zhao holds the Lee Soo Ying Professorship in Materials Chemistry at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is an elected fellow of the Singapore National Academy of Science. Prof. Zhao’s group conducts research in an interdisciplinary area of synthetic chemistry and materials science with an emphasis on the design and synthesis of integrated systems for supramolecular biomedicine and sustainable catalysis. Prof. Zhao has been honored with several recognitions and awards, including the Mitsui Chemicals-SNIC Industry Award in Materials and Nano-chemistry, the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate Analytics, the Singapore National Research Foundation Investigatorship, the ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces Young Investigator Award, the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association Prize for Young Scientists, the TR35@Singapore Award, and the Singapore National Research Foundation Fellowship.
