Hua Pang

Hua Pang is a full professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of New Media and Communication, Tianjin University. She earned her PhD in Communication and completed postdoctoral research at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. She has conducted influential research in new media studies, media psychology, information systems management, political communication, and international communication. She serves in major academic associations and holds associate and senior editorial roles at leading SSCI journals, including Telematics and Informatics, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, and Behaviour & Information Technology. Hua Pang has published more than 120 CSSCI/SSCI/SCI-indexed papers, including around 80 SSCI/SCI articles as sole or first author. She has led or participated in over 30 research projects, including two National Social Science Fund projects. Her honors include Stanford’s World’s Top 2% Scientists list, Elsevier’s Highly Cited Chinese Researchers, and multiple national and Tianjin-level awards for outstanding scholarly contributions.
