Zhenhua Zhang is a professor and PI in Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his B.S. in 2012 from Dalian University of Technology and Ph. D. degree in 2017 from University of Science and Technology of China. He then joined National University of Singapore as postdoctoral research fellow in 2018. Afterwards, he joined Zhejiang Normal University as Shuanglong Scholar and later joined Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a professor. His research interest focuses on the structural design of surface and interface of solid catalysts and their catalysis in catalytic conversions of C1 molecules, as well as the development of quasi in situ characterizations to probe the structural evolution of solid catalysts and some key intermediates in reaction conditions.
