Yasuo Terao

Yasuo Terao has been Professor of Medical Physiology at Kyorin University since 2016. He received his M.D. from the University of Tokyo in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Neurology in 1998. After completing neurology residency training and serving on the faculty at the Department of Neurology, University of Tokyo Hospital, he conducted postdoctoral research at Umeå University, Sweden (1999–2001). His research focuses on clinical neurophysiology, particularly the investigation of neurological disorders using eye movement analysis, transcranial magnetic stimulation, focused transcranial ultrasound stimulation, and other electrophysiological techniques to study brain function in humans.
