Dr. Shilong Chen

Shilong Chen

Fuzhou University, China

Dr. Shilong Chen is currently a full professor of Chemical Engineering at Fuzhou University. He obtained his PhD in Chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2016. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Ulm University until 2021. Afterwards, he continued his work as a group leader in the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at Kiel University since 2022. In mid-2025, He joined Fuzhou University. His research interests focus on the catalytic purification of exhaust from ammonia-hydrogen combustion, catalysis for the ammonia-hydrogen energy, and the fundamental understanding of catalytic processes by operando spectroscopy.
