Rosalyn Santos Diño

Rosalyn Santos Diño is a registered librarian with strong leadership experience in academic libraries. She currently serves as the Deputy University Librarian for Special Collections at the Rizal Library, Ateneo de Manila University.
With over 17 years at Ateneo, she has led key areas within the Special Collections Cluster, including the American Historical Collection, the Ateneo Library of Women's Writings, the Microform and Digital Resources Center, and the Pardo de Tavera Library. Her work focuses on advancing archival visibility, student discovery, and scholarly access.
She expanded her professional perspective through the Emerging Library Leaders’ Summer School for Asia-Pacific (ELLSSA) hosted by Singapore Management University, fostering collaboration with fellow Southeast Asian library leaders. Prior to Ateneo, she built her foundation at Angeles University Foundation, heading departments such as the Reference Section, High School Library, and Computer and Multimedia Services.
Rosalyn holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Library Science, from the University of Santo Tomas and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she was a FAPE scholar. Her career reflects a deep commitment to strengthening special collections and ensuring they remain central to research, higher education, and community engagement.
