Jae Woo Lee

Prof. Jae Woo Lee is a professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Korea University, Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Seoul National University in 2000 and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher and research associate at the University of Delaware, USA. His research focuses on sustainable water and energy systems, including biological and chemical treatment of refractory and toxic pollutants, bioenergy production from organic wastes, greenhouse gas dynamics in aquatic environments, and the application of advanced solvents for desalination and biogas upgrading. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Membrane Water Treatment (ISSN 2005-8624) and as Vice President of the Korean Society of Water Environment.
