Carol Sze Ki Lin

Prof. Carol Lin is a Full Professor in the School of Energy and Environment at City University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on circular waste-based biorefinery technologies for the sustainable production of chemicals, materials, and fuels through the valorisation of agricultural residues, food and beverage waste, plastics, and textiles. She serves as Associate/Executive Editor for several biotechnology and chemical engineering journals and as an external assessor for national and international funding agencies, including the National Research Foundation Singapore, European Science Foundation, and Research Foundation Flanders. Her honours include Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Hong Kong RGC Overseas Research Fellowship.
