Borui Zhang, is a Natural Language Processing (NLP) Specialist at the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida. With a Ph.D. in linguistics and a minor in computer science, Borui has worked on interdisciplinary research using NLP/AI methods in various domains such as natural history collections, medicine, and agriculture. Additionally, she co-teaches graduate and undergraduate courses to students from diverse major backgrounds to learn AI.
