From Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) to Shangri-La Hotel Beijing
Distance: Approximately 35-40 km
Estimated Travel Time: 1 to 1.5 hours (by car/taxi) or about 1.5 to 2 hours via public transportation
Option 1: Taxi or Ride-Sharing (Recommended for convenience)
• Cost: Around CNY 150-250
• Directions:
• Exit the airport terminals and follow signs for taxis.
• Provide the driver with the address: 29 Zizhuyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
• The driver will take the most direct route via the Airport Expressway and West 4th Ring Road.
Option 2: Public Transportation (Metro + Airport Express)
1. Take the Airport Express Line:
• Board at Terminal 3 or Terminal 2, heading toward Dongzhimen Station.
2. Transfer at Dongzhimen Station:
• Transfer to Line 13 (light blue line) toward Xizhimen.
3. Get off at Xizhimen Station:
• Exit and transfer to Line 4 (dark yellow line) toward Anheqiao North.
4. Travel to Zizhuyuan Station:
• Get off at Zizhuyuan Station (about 4 stops from Xizhimen).
5. Walk to the hotel:
• Exit the station and walk approximately 10 minutes to the hotel at 29 Zizhuyuan Road.
From Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) to Shangri-La Hotel Beijing
Distance: Approximately 60-70 km
Estimated Travel Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Option 1: Taxi or Ride-Sharing

• Directions:
• Follow signs for taxis outside the arrivals area.
• Provide the address: 29 Zizhuyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
• The driver will take the Daxing Airport Expressway and other main roads.
Option 2: Public Transportation (High-Speed Rail + Metro)
1. Take the Daxing Airport Express:
• From the airport, board the Daxing Airport Express to Caoqiao Station.
2. Transfer to Line 19 or other lines:
• Depending on connections, you may need to transfer at Caoqiao or other stations to reach a line connecting to Zizhuyuan.
3. Use Line 4 or other suitable lines:
• Travel toward Haidian District and get off at Zizhuyuan Station.
4. Walk to the hotel:
• Exit and walk about 10 minutes to the hotel.
(Note: Public transportation options from Daxing are less straightforward; a taxi may be more convenient.)

• Board at Beijing South Railway Station.
2. Travel to Xidan Station:
• Transfer at Xidan Station to Line 1 (Red Line) or Line 10 depending on your route.
3. Transfer at Xizhimen Station:
• Switch to Line 13 (Light Blue Line) toward Xizhimen.
4. Get off at Zizhuyuan Station:
• Walk approximately 10 minutes to the hotel.
(Note: The most straightforward route is to take the subway from Beijing South to Xizhimen, then transfer to Line 13 to Zizhuyuan.)

• Board at Beijing West Railway Station.
2. Transfer at Beijing West Railway Station to Line 9 or Line 1:
• For example, take Line 9 from Beijing West to National Library Station.
3. Transfer at Guogongzhuang Station or another suitable station to Line 13:
• Travel toward Xizhimen.
4. Get off at Zizhuyuan Station:
• Walk about 10 minutes to the hotel.

To further facilitate cross-border travel and China’s high-quality development and high-standard opening up, China has decided to extend the unilateral visa-free policy to more countries, which involves visa-free treatment to travellers holding ordinary passport from 43 countries, namely, Brunei, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay take effect from 1 June, 2025 ) holding valid ordinary passports can be exempted from visa requirement if entering into China for the purpose of business, tourism, family or friends visits, exchange and transit. They can stay in China for no more than 30 days without visa.
