Accepted international presenting authors who cannot attend in-person should refer to their letter of acceptance for information on how to participate and register.

Non-presenting delegates who are unable to travel to China but wish to access the conference content via the app and on-demand from 24 hours after the event should register here.

Academic rate applies to those with a full-time position in a non-commercial institute.

Student rate applies to those registered for a higher degree. Student registration forms must be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status. These should be emailed to Marie-Claire Morley [email protected](opens in new tab/window) (Please do not email credit card information under any circumstances) to support your registration

The registration fee includes:

  • Access to the in-person conference and poster sessions

  • Full conference materials including access to the conference app and abstracts

  • Welcome drinks reception and refreshments /lunch as advertised in the program

  • Access to audio recordings and slides of all talks (subject to author permissions) for 6-months after the event

  • Access to posters and poster pitches (subject to author permissions) from onsite and non-attending authors via the conference app from the start of the conference and for 6-months after the event

  • Access to abstracts of all presentations via the conference app for 6-months post event

  • Option to message authors and other attendees via the conference app during the conference and for 6-months post event

Please be advised that your registration fee does not include travel insurance, please ensure that you have your own insurance policy before travelling.

Payment methods

Payment for conference registrations can only be made by credit card online and the listed payment applications. Elsevier accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Alipay, Paypal and Unionpay. Your registration documents will be available on the registration system for you to download.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 19 September 2021, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 3 October 2021, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 3 October 2021, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.

Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Coronavirus refund guarantee: We will refund the cost of registration should you not be eligible to travel to Shenzhen due to government restrictions at the time of the conference or if it is necessary for us to cancel the conference due to COVID-19.

Non-attending delegates             US$99.00 + VAT @ 20% = US$118.80

VAT: UK VAT is chargeable at 20% on online registration rates. However, if your company is VAT exempt as a UK B2B, EU B2B or Non-EU B2B customer please contact Marie-Claire Morley(opens in new tab/window) with your VAT number and we can provide an appropriate invoice.  If you are based in Australia please also contact Marie-Claire Morley(opens in new tab/window) as your invoice needs raising with Australian VAT. You will need to confirm your VAT number if you are an Australian B2B customer.

  • Access to audio recordings and slides of all talks (subject to author permissions) for 6-months after the event (from 24 hours after the event)

  • Access to posters and video pitches from onsite and non-attending authors (subject to permissions) via the conference app – from the start of the conference and for 6-months after the event.
