The new Clinical eLearning course is a powerful upgrade for stroke care, delivering trusted, evidence-based content in an engaging format designed specifically to fit around nurses’ busy schedules
Elsevier has unveiled a cutting-edge Clinical eLearning course in stroke management, designed to empower nurses with evidence-based expertise and make it easier than ever for institutions to deliver essential stroke care training.
In addition, the course supports compliance with US stroke center certification guidelines alongside this crucial training content.
The course utilizes multimedia assets, including Elsevier content from Complete Anatomy (the 3D learning platform) and Osmosis (featuring numerous videos, illustrations and videos), alongside videos from the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), making it one of the most engaging and comprehensive stroke resources available to nurses.
The course covers the critical skills and knowledge needed to recognize stroke symptoms, apply prevention strategies and adhere to accreditation standards. The course includes:
Expert content developed by subject matter experts.
Pre-tests, in-lesson knowledge checks and post module case studies to reinforce learning and ensure competency.
Modules incorporate 20-minute micro-lessons, allowing nurses to engage efficiently with short interval learning to fit within their busy schedules.
Tim Morris, Vice President of Commercial, Nursing at Elsevier said:
“There is a growing demand for trusted, ready-to-use solutions to support stroke preparedness. With Elsevier’s heritage in evidence-based content, this new Clinical eLearning course enables institutions to rapidly upskill their nursing teams and improve stroke care delivery — without the burden of creating content in-house.”
