Program
A registration session will take place on the afternoon of Monday 9 November 2026.
The conference program will comprise keynote lectures by invited speakers supplemented by contributed talks and a large poster session.

Conference dinner
An optional conference dinner will be held on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at the El Vivero Beach Club Restaurant in Sitges.
Located next to San Sebastián Beach, on a cliff, with one of the best views of Sitges, this Restaurant & Beach Club focuses on classic Mediterranean cuisine with modern touches in its fish and rice dishes. Providing a relaxed atmosphere, a gastronomic offer and a careful service make Vivero Beach Club one of the iconic places on the Catalan coast.
Attendees will receive a welcome drink, 3-course meal, drinks.
This will be great opportunity to network with colleagues and attendees, whilst forging new connections and sharing ideas. Tickets to the dinner can be booked at the same time as registering for the conference.

Author Workshop
Monday 9 November 2026 | 16:30
The author workshop will provide valuable insights into navigating the evolving scholarly publishing landscape, covering best practices for getting your research published. Early Career Researchers will learn about what editors look out for when deciding whether to send an article for peer review and will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about the publication process and how to make sure their research has the best chance at being published.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Look behind the scenes of academic publishing to better understand the process
Have a clear idea of the steps to take before starting to write a paper
Choose the right journal to submit their paper to
Have a clear idea about author rights and responsibilities
Understand sensitive areas such as publishing ethics, plagiarism and duplicate publishing
Understand how peer review works and how to respond to feedback
