Read about how Aaron, one of our ClinicalKey Global Challenge 2019 finalists, has adapted to studying remotely
It has definitely been disorienting to have my schedule turned upside down, but we did what we do best as medical students - adapt! And as the weeks went by, we eventually fell into a rhythm of life which became our new 'normal'.
In times like this, it's even more important to keep up with friends outside of school too. The bunch of us from the ClinicalKey Global Challenge 2019 are still in touch today. It's oddly reassuring to know there are other med students around the world facing the exact same challenges as I am, and they've been an incredible support network in the past few weeks.
You're likely to face many roadblocks and cancelled plans in the coming weeks - I know it's rough, but try to see the good that might come out of the situation: perhaps it frees up more time for you to pursue projects and plans that you've been holding off for a while! Isaac Newton and Shakespeare published some of their greatest works whilst under similar circumstances; perhaps you could activate some creative energy of your own too!
