SciVal Certification Program

The six-week online certification program covers six modules:
Introduction to SciVal
Metrics and Indicators
Institutional Perspectives
Work with Researchers
Research Groups
Preparation of Reports, Dissemination and Outreach for users.
There is no cost associated with participating in this program, but it is necessary that your institution has a SciVal subscription. The total time commitment to complete the program is approximately six hours* – one hour per week as modules are released over the six weeks. You can take the course on a day or time that is most convenient for you. If you are interested in this program, please contact your consultant.
*Please note that the course may require additional time if you are new to SciVal or have not used this tool recently.
Research Data Management for Librarians (RDMLA) Program

The RDMLA, a free online professional development program for librarians, information professionals, and other professionals, is now available and will provide opportunities for individuals to develop skills related to research data management. The RDMLA is intended primarily for librarians, but may also be useful to researchers. The program consists of eight units, which can be followed consecutively or separately, alternately, at the user's discretion. Each unit requires an average of one hour and has video material, slides, practical cases, reading resources and self-assessments. Scopus AI Beta: análisis funcional y casos
This study examines the interface and the main functions of this tool and explores it on the basis of three case studies. The functional analysis shows that the Scopus AI Beta interface is intuitive and easy to use. Elsevier's AI tool allows the researcher to obtain an overview of a problem, as well as to identify authors and approaches, in a more agile search session than conventional search.
