Matthias Kuehne

Matthias Kuehne joined Brown University as an assistant professor of Physics in 2023, following postdoctoral work in the group of Michael Strano at MIT. Matthias did his doctoral studies at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research and received his doctoral degree from the University of Stuttgart. Matthias holds a diplome d’ingenieur from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France, as well as a diploma in Physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. His group at Brown University investigates fluidic, ionic, and electronic properties of low-dimensional materials and devices.
