Professor Kate Fox is a biomedical engineer at RMIT University, Australia. She received her PhD in Applied Science from the University of South Australia followed by a post-doctoral position at Melbourne University where she was part of the team developing a diamond electrode material for the Bionic Eye. Her research is focussed on solving industry problems using new materials combined with additive manufacturing such as diamond. Her innovative research has led to external recognition and prizes such as Engineers Australia’s most innovative engineer. She is the current Head of Biomedical Engineering at RMIT.
