Results in Geochemistry is an international open-access peer reviewed journal that publishes a wide range of original research papers on isotopic and elemental geochemistry, both organic and inorganic. The journal focuses on geochemical processes in the hydrosphere, biosphere, and lithosphere of the Earth, including but not restricted to igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary petrology, low- and high-temperature aqueous solutions, biogeochemistry, the environment and cosmochemistry. The journal also welcomes papers on planetary geochemistry, applied geochemistry and paleoclimate.
The journal will also consider papers dealing with experimental results and significant analytical advances in geochemistry. Results in Geochemistry accepts submissions of three types of papers:
Full-length research papers (no longer than 10,000 words)
Short communications (no longer than three pages) which may consist of a single, but well-described piece of information, such as:
1. Data and/or a plot plus a description
2. Description of a new method or instrumentation
