Yongxiang Leng

Yongxiang Leng received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) in 2004. He is currently a Professor at the College of Medicine, SWJTU. Dr. Leng is an Academic and Technical Leader of Sichuan Province, Outstanding Expert of Sichuan Province, and New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education. His research focuses on material surface modification, ion beam technology, and biomaterial surface engineering. He has published over 200 academic papers, authored 2 monographs, and holds more than 20 national invention patents. Dr. Leng has received numerous awards, including the First Prize of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of Tianjin Municipal Technological Invention Award, the Second Prize of the Technological Invention Award (Ministry of Education), and the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award (Chinese Society for Biomaterials).
