Orawon Chailapakul

Orawon Chailapakul is a Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and a globally recognized leader in electrochemistry and optical sensor technology. After earning her Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico, USA, she has dedicated her career to pioneering research in advanced sensor platforms, specifically designed to tackle global challenges in healthcare and environmental sustainability.

Under her visionary leadership, the Electrochemistry and Optical Spectroscopy Center of Excellence (EOSCE) has achieved international acclaim, receiving the prestigious Science and Technology Award from the Toray Science Foundation.
