Jie Xiao
University of Washington, USA (Main Chair)
Dr. Xiao is currently a Boeing Martin Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Washington. Dr. Xiao’s research spans from fundamental research, battery materials scaleup and manufacturing to cell fabrication and engineering for broad applications. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers and been named top 1% Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher. She holds twenty-seven patents in the area of energy storage area and seven of them have been licensed to industry. She is the co-Editor in Chief of the journal Energy Storage Materials.
