Prof. Li received his PhD from Jilin University in 2006, after 3 years’ postdoc in K. U.Leuven University, he was appointed as associated professor at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). In 2012, he was promoted as full professor. he currently serves as the deputy Director of DICP and the Head of Energy Storage Division at DICP. His research interest mainly focused on electrochemical energy storage, e.g. flow batteries, lithium/sodium-ion batteries from fundamental to industrialization. Up to now, Dr. Li has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed papers with more than 30000 citations and filled more than 300 patents. he has received several awards including, the State Technological Invention Award, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, XPLORER PRIZE etc.
