Zhongde Dai

Zhongde Dai is a full professor in School of Carbon Neutrality Future Technology, Sichuan University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2016. After that, he continued working as postdoctoral research fellow and research scientist in the same group. In 2020, he joined Sichuan university and started his independent research. His main research focuses on developing high performances gas separation membrane materials and processes. Specially, for CO2 capture from flue gas, natural gas sweetening, as well as other applications such as helium recovery from natural gas. Up to now, he served as principal investigator for over 10 scientific research projects from both research council and industry. He has published over 160 papers in internationally high-quality journals including Advanced Science, Journal of Membrane Science, Green Chemistry, Journal of Materials Chemistry A and NPG Asia materials. He also serves as editorial board member for Separation and Purification Technology, Carbon Capture Science and Technology, as well as Results in Engineering.
