Dr. Magdeline Ng is Vice University Librarian and the Cluster Head of Digital Strategy and Innovation at National University of Singapore (NUS) Libraries. She also serves on the World Health Organisation Western Pacific Region Librarians Network (WPRLN) and FSTA Librarian Advisory Board.
At NUS, Magdeline co-teaches two popular courses - ALS1010 Strategic Learning: A Holistic Approach to Studying and ALS1020 Learning to choose better (general undergraduate electives). She co-authored the book, Strategic Learning: A Holistic Approach to Studying, along with Prof Robert Kamei. Her scholarship includes works on systematic review, pedagogical research and innovative teaching methods.
Beyond her academic and library leadership roles, Dr Magdeline holds a joint appointment with NUS Agility Office that advances NUS’s strategic objective and transformative change. Her interests include pedagogical research, digital innovation, educational interventions, and research impact assessment.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons). in Chemistry from National University of Singapore, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University.
