Dr. Rakesh Ganguly

Dr. Rakesh Ganguly is an academic administrator, associated with Shiv Nadar University since 2020. Prior to that, he was a Senior Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University with academic training in coordination chemistry and crystallography. He had also received the prestigious Young Scientist Fellowship in 2004 and carried out his work in Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata. He is an alumnus of UC Berkeley’s Executive Leadership Academy.

In Shiv Nadar University, he was closely associated with the documentation, drafting of MoU and process of Institution of Eminence. Shiv Nadar University is the youngest private HEI to achieve the coveted status of IoE. In 2021, he led the PMO team when the institution undertook an extensive “bottom-up top-down” exercise called 'Quo Vadis', involving all the stakeholders – including faculty, staff, students and alumni. Presently, he is operationally heading the Office of Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs, providing data driven analytic insights to the leadership and delivering automation processes for internal data collection. He is the nodal officer of NIRF, IoE and QS. He is also the IQAC coordinator.
