Dr. Haerani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Indonesia, where she has been a faculty member since 2008. Her research focuses on remote sensing, GIS applications in agriculture, spatial analysis and modelling, crop mapping, and climate change impact assessment. She has led and collaborated on numerous projects with Indonesia's Ministry of Agriculture and regional governments, applying geospatial technologies to support agricultural planning and sustainability.
Dr. Haerani holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering from Hasanuddin University, a Master of Engineering Science from the University of Melbourne, and a PhD in Remote Sensing and GIS from the University of Southern Queensland. A recipient of multiple international scholarships and fellowships, she has published extensively on precision agriculture, climate change impacts, crop monitoring, and geospatial modelling.
