1The student rate applies to those registered for a higher degree. Post Doc’s are not eligible for the student rate. Student registrations must be accompanied by a letter from your head of department, attesting to your student status. Please email the letter to the Project Lead at [email protected] (please do not email credit card information under any circumstances).
2The academic rate applies to those with a full-time position in a non-commercial institute.
If you have more than one paper accepted for presentation at the conference (oral or poster), there is an additional registration fee of US$50 per additional paper. Please select the additional item during the registration process and indicate all your abstract reference numbers when prompted. Please note this is for papers that you are the presenting author of, not papers that you are co-author of.
The registration fee includes:
Access to the conference on 20, 21, and 22 October
Lunches and mid-session refreshments, as scheduled in the conference program for 20, 21, and 22 October
Welcome drinks reception
Access to conference abstracts
NOTE: the following events are not included in the main registration fee, but they can be purchased at an additional cost:
Pre-conference workshop on 19 October. More details about the workshop topics will be made available soon. See above for the cost of each workshop.
Field Trip on 23 October. More information will be available soon.
Please be advised that your registration fee does not include travel insurance, please ensure that you have your own insurance policy before traveling.
Payment methods
Payment for conference registrations can only be made by credit card online. Elsevier accepts: MasterCard, Visa and American Express, Alipay, Paypal and Unionpay.

Cancellation information
Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Project Lead of a change of name (please do not email credit card information under any circumstances).
If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Project Lead (please do not email credit card information under any circumstances) immediately. Provided written notice is received by Friday 5th September 2025, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by Friday 19th September 2025, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after Friday 19th September 2025, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.
In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.
