About the Editor in Chief
Jorge Garcia
Jorge Garcia is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical, Electronics, Computers and Systems Engineering, University of Oviedo, Spain. He's been a visiting professor at the GEDRE research group, Universidade Federal de Santa María, RS, Brazil (2012); in the Universitá di Roma - La Sapienza, Roma, Italy (2013), and at PEMC group at The University of Nottingham, UK (2016).
Garcia teaches subjects in electronics at the Bi-lingual Degree in Electronics & Automation Engineering, and is Coordinator of the English language ‘Electrical Energy Conversion and Power Systems’ Master Degree program. He has supervised more than 20 Degree/Master Thesis, been the advisor of 3 successful PhD thesis and is currently advising 3 PhD students.
Since 2011 he's been a researcher at LEMUR research team, in topics related to Power Electronics, Microgrids, Control Systems, Modeling, Industrial Electronics, Lighting Electronics and energy management. He's co-author of more than 50 papers in relevant international peer-reviewed publications, and has co-authored around conference 100 papers.
