Zhiwei Wang

Zhiwei Wang is a Professor and the Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University, China. His research focuses on membrane-based technologies for water and wastewater treatment. He has authored three books and published over 300 peer-reviewed papers. He has been recognized as one of the Most Cited Chinese Scholars in the field of Environmental Sciences by Scopus–Elsevier. He is a Fellow of the International Water Association (IWA), serves as the Secretary of the Management Committee of the IWA Specialist Group on Membrane Technology, and was named a Distinguished Membrane Scientist by ISPT in 2024.
