Khaled Mahmoud

Dr. Mahmoud is a Professor and Senior Research Director at the Water Center, QEERI, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar. His research focuses on environmental quality and nanobiotechnology, including renewable nanomaterials, water treatment, membrane desalination, and environmental remediation. He has over 25 years of industrial, academic, and R&D experience, with more than 150 publications, book chapters, and patents. His work has received over 13,000 citations (H-index: 57). Dr. Mahmoud earned his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and actively collaborates with academic and industrial partners both regionally and internationally.
