Hanyao Huang

Dr. Hanyao Huang received his D.D.S./M.D. from West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, and completed his postdoctoral training with Prof. Kam Leong in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. His research focuses on engineering biomaterial-based strategies to modulate immune cell behavior and tissue microenvironments in oral diseases, aiming to define disease-associated pathological patterns as therapeutic targets and to control inflammation while promoting tissue repair and regeneration to advance oral health care.
