Wen Sun

Prof. Wen Sun received his Ph.D. in 2017 from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Germany. In 2018, he joined Dalian University of Technology as an Associate Professor and was promoted to Full Professor in 2020. His research centers on the development of functional materials for biomedical applications, with a focus on fluorescence diagnosis, phototherapy, and photoimmunotherapy. He has authored over 120 papers in leading international peer-reviewed journals, including Nat. Chem., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Chem. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res., and holds an h-index of 64. Recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists for career-long impact, he has also been serving as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Chemistry since 2022.
