Edna Regina Amante is senior visiting researcher in the Graduate Program in Food Science and Technology, Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Brazil.

Professor at Santa Catarina South University (UNISUL) (1985-1989) and Santa Catarina Federal University (UFSC) (1989-2019). Received Chemistry Industrial Degree in 1979 in UNISUL, Master's degree in Food Science and Technology, at the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil), in 1986. and a PhD in Production Engineering and Systems from the Santa Catarina Federal University in 1997 (visiting researcher in Tokyo Institute of Technology). Guidance for undergraduate, master's and doctoral research with with emphasis on Green Chemistry and Clean Technology.
