Professor Ts. Dr. Rabiah Binti Ahmad
Professor Ts. Dr. Rabiah graduated with honours degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1995. In 1998, she received her MSc. in Information Security degree from Royal Holloway University of London, United Kingdom. Later in 2006, she received her Ph.D in Information Studies (Health Informatics) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. She began her career as a Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 1998. She was appointed as the Head of Department of Information Security, UTM City Campus in 2010. She moved to Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in 2010 and has been appointed as Deputy Director of Centre for Research, Innovation & Management in 2013, Director of Centre for Strategic, Quality & Risk Management in 2017 and Dean of Faculty Information System and Communication Technology in 2020. Professor Ts. Dr. Rabiah has been appointed as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) since 1 March 2023. She published more than 60 papers in refereed journals, produced conference papers as well as numerous other writings, articles in popular publications, manuscripts, and technical reports. Professor Ts. Dr. Rabiah has been awarded Cybersecurity Professional Award by Cybersecurity Malaysia in 2018. She has received several numbers of academic and research awards for her achievement in inventions.
