Mingqiang Li

Mingqiang Li is a Professor of Molecular Medicine at Sun Yat-sen University. His interdisciplinary research spans biomaterials, nanomedicine, and tissue engineering. Dr. Li has published more than 180 peer-reviewed papers, accumulating over 13,000 citations. He is a recipient of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has been named an “Emerging Investigator” by Journal of Materials Chemistry B, Biomaterials Science, and Chemical Communications, and ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists (2023–2025). Dr. Li serves as an Associate Editor for Journal of Tissue Engineering and Stem Cell Research & Therapy, and as an editorial board member for Chinese Chemical Letters, Med-X, and Mechanobiology.
